Old ginger root tends to increase the body temperature and promotes healthy sweating, which helps us during cold and flu. Recently, the German researchers have found that sweat contains a potent germ-fighting protein agent called Dermicidin that helps in fighting against the infections.

When to use old ginger?

When to use young ginger?
  • If you tend to feel warm most of the time, as in the case of people with hyperthyroidism.
  • During fever.
  • During summer.
