Regular consumption of green tea reduces the risk of obesity

Obesity is one of the major health problems in developed countries; both genetic and environmental factors are implicated in the development of obesity, particularly food overconsumption. Research by Claudio A et al. has shown that, the green tea administration has increased the lipolytic pathway and reduced the adipose tissue and inflammatory cytokines. This could open new opportunities in obesity treatment.
