Nanofertilizers’ journey from lab to land in India

India is an agricultural country. Indian scientists are now keen to construct further milestones in our agriculture improvements, which can be implemented in our fields through immediate commercialisation. One such prominent milestone is the bio-based nanofertilizer, which is an important invention by the team of Dr. Tarafdar of Indian Agriculture Research Institute (IARI) - Central Arid Zone Research Institute. The research outcome was channelised for the comercialisation with the association of the industrial body, Prathista Industries limited, Secunderabad. Prathista Industries effectively worked on the same and brought the nanonutrient innovation in a relatively short period of 6 months.
