Liver cell replication to test the drug level faster
Researchers of Wake Forest Institute for Regenerative Medicine and the Virginia Tech-Wake Forest University School of Biomedical Engineering and Sciences have developed a user-friendly technique that mimics the in vivo liver cells exclusively used in testing the drug. This would open a potential pathway in determining the effectiveness and side effects of treatment without affecting the patient.
