Semiotik, a Russian company made an agreement with Yashraj Biotechnology Ltd, which is one of the top 20 Indian pharmaceutical companies, on the supply of glycochip for the assay of glycan-binding proteins in blood and donor plasma. Glycochip Semiotik is a thin slide that contains a library of polysaccharides (glycans). It is possible to attach up to 600 glycans to this chip and diagnose about a hundred diseases. It can be used particularly to diagnose infectious, auto-immune and oncological diseases.
