Flowers pointing to the sky attract moth pollinators
Researchers have recently found that, the orientation of flowers play a key role in attracting pollinators besides their volatile emission. In the comparative study performed between flowers facing upward and sideward, they found that the former are better in attracting moth pollinators than the latter. This study also lays importance of flowers orientation in reproductive isolation.
