Moderate coffee consumption reduces risk of death
A recent study reported in the American Heart Association’s journal called Circulation has revealed that, the consumption of moderate coffee (i.e. less than 5 cups/day) can reduce the risk of death from cardiovascular disease, neurological diseases, Type 2 diabetes and suicide. It is believed to be the bio-active compounds present in coffee besides caffeine that confer the benefits. The study suggests that, coffee can be included as a part of healthy and balanced diet.
