Nanotechnological approach to enhance the anti-oxidants level in tomatoes
Plants need nutrients for their totipotent property; it majorly depends on the soil and in order to get that, plant system secretes the enzymes, which trigger the microbes to synthesise required nutrients for the plants. This process is being advanced using nano-entities. The studies have been focused in plant nanotechnology. Recent research work has demonstrated that nanoparticles, such as zinc oxide and titanium dioxide enhance the tomato plants’ growth by boosting the pigment to absorb the light and mineral compound which increased the anti-oxidants’ efficiency. This finding serves to be a positive pathway to work further on plant nanotechnology; however, further analysis of this research would benefit the mankind.
