Green tea benefits us beyond its ability to slake thirst. Green tea extracts contain several compounds that serve for different characteristics of green tea, such as catechins (texture), caffeine (bitterness) and theanine (flavour) besides some vitamins and minerals. Healthwise, it provides lots of benefits and following are few paybacks of green tea:
  • The catechins present in green tea contain EGCG (epigallocatechin-3-gallate), which serves as powerful anti-oxidant that prevents ageing of skin and obstructs dangerous free radicals present in the body.
