Coconut water is a miracle drink
Coconut water (Cocos nucifera L) is one of the enriched liquids used in our day to day life. It is the liquid part of the endosperm of coconut fruit. Some of the health benefits of coconut water are its function as an energy booster; its use in digestion promotion; and prescription for burning pain during urination, dysuria and gastritis, burning pain of the eyes, hiccups, intravenous hydration and resuscitation fluid, anti-aging of the skin cells, balancing pH level, keeping connective tissue strong and even expelling of retained placenta. Coconut water is a sweet refreshing drink and it differs from coconut milk. The nutrient composition of coconut water includes vitamin C, vitamin B including panthotenic acid and nicotinic acid, sugars like sucrose, galactose, xylose and mannose, and minerals like potassium, chloride, iron, sulphur, etc.

The minerals present in it play a vital role in maintaining the isotonic properties. The amino acids like alanine, arginine, cysteine and serine are comparatively high in coconut water than in cow's milk, and it strengthens our immune system which can help to prevent from common infections, such as cold and flu. Certain proteins and enzymes are also found to be present in coconut water which are known to be involved in the maintenance of blood circulation.

Regular consumption of coconut water in the morning in empty stomach can naturally improve immunity, increase metabolism, alter HDL and detoxify the body. It serves as a good drink for rehydration after exercise. Drink coconut water to promote good health and healthy life.
